Less than a mile from the beautiful beaches on Anna Maria Island, this RV park includes a marina, lush landscaping, heated pool, paved sites, full hookups and friendly folks. There are several dog runs along the perimeter of the park and the neighborhood offers several options for longer walks.\u00a0 This park is an ownership park and the owners take great pride in keeping their sites maintained. As short-term renters, we were warmly welcomed to several community get-togethers.\u00a0 Just across the street, you’ll find the Cortez Cafe, a popular breakfast stop for the locals; the scrumptious Breezy Bakery; fresh catch at the Cortez Fish Market; and casual dining at Slicker’s Eatery. The seafood restaurants in this fishing village cannot be beat. We loved Tide Tables and Swordfish Grill.\u00a0 Cortez is close to Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Sarasota and many nearby attractions. Friendly people, welcoming to dogs and a great location make this park one of our favorites to date. We met a lot of friendly dogs and people. It was a short walk to green space and we enjoyed are twice a day walk around the park. There was plenty of shade at our site so we could nap outside. Our favorite place to walk was the Robinson Preserve.
